Dr.KARRA
NARASIMHA MURTHY MEMORIAL MEDAL
Sri. K.V.Subba Rao, gave a donation of Rs.1,00,000/- in November
2002 and desired that an Annual Award be instituted in the name of his brother Dr.Karra Narasimha Murthy who was
a student of BE, ME and Ph.D. in the
department of Materials Engineering during 1964-72 and also a faculty member in
the department up to May 1974. Accordingly, the Institute
considered the request and a Karra Narasimha Murthy Memorial Medal was instituted. This medal will be awarded to the student for
best M.Sc.(Engg) thesis.
